KIA Ceed - the second generation of the model, the public premiere of which took place at the 2012 International Motor Show in Geneva. The model was originally developed with an eye on the European market, and therefore its production has been established at an enterprise in Slovakia.

KIA cee'd differs from other C-class hatchbacks by its optimal price/equipment ratio, as well as the presence of such options, which are quite rare in this segment. For example, a heated steering wheel, which can often only boast of cars D, and even E-class. The suspension of the new cee'd is completely independent. There are McPherson struts at the front and a Multi Link at the rear. Ground clearance KIA cee'd is 140 mm.

Already in the basic version, KIA cee'd is equipped with 6 airbags, anti-lock brakes and brake force control systems, air conditioning, front power windows, heated and electrically adjustable side mirrors, an on-board computer, a multifunctional steering wheel with the ability to control a CD / MP3 radio with 6 speakers and the ability to connect external devices via AUX and USB connectors.

In the next trim levels, the buyer can get in the KIA cee'd ESP electronic motion stabilization systems, hill/descent assistance, Flex Steer technology, which offers three steering modes (Normal, Comfort and Sport), rain and light sensors , rear power windows, dual-zone climate control, an improved instrument panel with a high-resolution color display built into it, cruise control, front and rear armrests, heated front seats and steering wheel, parking sensors, Bluetooth interface.

The size and design of the rims depends on the configuration and varies from 15 to 16 inches.

The initial 1.4-liter petrol engine (100 hp) is offered only for the basic configuration. The transmission available to it is a six-speed manual.

A more powerful 1.6-litre (130 hp) petrol unit is available for all three versions. In the Mid and Top trim levels, it can be aggregated with a six-speed automatic.

In addition to gasoline engines, diesel modifications with a new 1.6 CRDI VGT engine are also delivered to Ukraine. Its maximum power is 128 hp. is reached at 4,000 rpm, and a peak torque of 260 Nm is available in the range of 1,900-2,750 rpm. The diesel power plant is offered only for the Mid configuration and is aggregated exclusively by “mechanics”.
