KIA cee'd (2006) - a five-door hatchback that appeared on the Ukrainian market in 2007. Thanks to a good combination of price / equipment, it has become one of the most popular cars in the Golf class. It was produced until 2012, after which a new generation of the model entered the European market - the second generation KIA cee'd.
The history of the car began in the mid-2000s, when KIA decided to enter the mass segment in the European market, where B- and C-class hatchbacks are still the most common cars. VW Golf, Ford Focus and other leaders of the company failed to squeeze out, but since the start of production, which was launched in 2006, the first generation of cee'd has sold more than half a million cars. And that's just on the European continent.
Driving performance at the level of European classmates, well-thought-out interior ergonomics similar to the "Germans", not repulsive appearance and often a longer list of additional equipment for less money compared to competitors became the main success factors for the first generation KIA cee'd.
In anticipation of the new generation of KIA cee'd was updated in 2010. The car received a false radiator grille “tiger nose”, a modern front panel, and new light optics, which has already become a branded false radiator. The developers also made minor adjustments to the chassis settings.
Now in Ukraine only gasoline modifications are officially offered, equipped with engines of 1.4 (105 hp) and 1.6 liters (126 hp). The first engine is aggregated exclusively with a five-speed manual, and for a more powerful power plant, you can choose a six-speed “mechanics” or a four-band automatic as a transmission.
