Kia cee'd – the second generation of the model has been produced since 2012, and at the beginning of 2016 to the Ukrainian market came out restyling version.

The updated cee'd received a redesigned front bumper, chrome trim around the fog lights, a new "oval" grille pattern, rear LED lights and original design 16-inch alloy wheels. The car is available with two upgraded engines (1.6-liter petrol and diesel units) and three transmission options (6-speed manual/automatic and a new 7-speed DCT robotic gearbox with dual clutch). The new transmission is matched exclusively with the 1.6-liter diesel engine (136 hp).

The basic package Comfort includes: 6 airbags; attachment for child seats; anti-lock braking system (ABS) with brake force distribution (EBD); disc brakes 4 wheels; steering column adjustable vertically and horizontally; height adjustment of the driver's seat; driver's mirror with an increased viewing angle; external mirrors heated and electrically adjustable; rear fog lights; 15" steel wheels with full size hubcaps and other useful options. Kia cee'd also has a multifunctional steering wheel with keys to control the multimedia system while driving.

The second generation Kia cee'd is produced at the Kia Motor plant in Slovakia.
