KIACerato 2013 - one of the most popular models of the brand, which since its inception in 2004 has sold more than 2.5 million copies on the world market. At the end of 2012, the company introduced a new generation of the car, which became the third generation.

The design of the machine was developed under the guidance of the German Peter Schreyer. Nevertheless, the new Cerato was drawn in the American division of KIA, and its direct author is Tom Kearns, who, before moving to work for the Korean automaker, worked for the General Motors concern, where his last project was the Cadillac CTS.

An interesting detail of the exterior is the optics with LED elements, available for top options. In the cabin, on the front panel, as well as on the plastic inserts in the doors, the so-called “soft waves” appeared, making the interior more lively and diverse.

The sedan, compared to its predecessor, has become 30 mm longer and 5 mm wider. Significantly improved drag coefficient C_x - 0.27 against the previous 0.29. In addition, new soundproof fillers were used in the model, due to which the level of sound insulation became higher.

Already in the basic configuration, KIA Cerato is equipped with air conditioning, power windows for all doors, heated front seats, an armrest between the driver and passenger seats, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, an MP3 radio with the ability to connect players and mobile phones via AUX or USB connectors.

For a surcharge, that is, when choosing more equipped trim levels, KIA Cerato receives a rear-view camera that displays a color image on the screen in the center console, parking sensors, climate and cruise control, headlights and lights with LEDs, heated steering wheel, Bluetooth, two additional speakers acoustic system.

Ground clearance KIA Cerato is 150 mm. The model is produced in South Korea.
